A small good pan

It is a bit difficult to clean for the first seasoning process. After that every thing is very good. The pan is a little small for frying two eggs

My First Carbon Steel Pan

I have a carbon steel wok and love it. So I decided to finally get a small pan. This pan has been absolutely fabulous. I use it for quick, small portion meals. Usually it’s used for breakfast eggs over-easy, bacon, sausage and hash browns. After proper seasoning, this pan is perfectly non-stick. Remove the wooden handle and then season the pan in the oven. If you don’t want to put in the time to properly season AND maintain this pan or any other carbon steel pan as you use it, then you may not be happy. This pan is small so choose the correct size for your needs. It’s been perfect for me.

I seasoned the pan and now >I fry eggs ,make stir fry ,A steel pan like this, you have to heat it up to the necessary temperature (You can check that with a drop of cold water and when it becomes a small rolling bal.you then can add the oil .Make sure you turn on the fan to disperse the smoke.Use a oil which has a high burning point.Every time you store it away put a bit of oil in the pan The more you use it, the better it gets.Greetings: HR.
